抄録(英) | If we see from the past and now competition in automotive industry increased tremendously and every car manufacturer are bringing up there innovations into the market and giving a lot of options to the customers to choose and the customer experience as well as satisfaction has become one of the main driver of success for the company. In today’s world of automotive design virtual analysis is playing a crucial role in the design and development. There are software’s that are available in market to simulate practical conditions digitally. Here we are mainly focused on effect of change in engine mount stiffness on acceleration at driver seat rail point using ADAMS. Which facilitates reduction of design of experiments and finalizing optimized stiffness values for engine mounts for engine idle vibration refinement point of view. ADAMS is mechanical system analysis software where we can simulate the dynamic behavior and distribution of loads throughout the system. In this paper we are going to elaborate the design of experiment done on the effect of change in engine mount stiffness to understand the transfer of vibration at seat rail point this experiment was done based on a three cylinder engine without balancer shaft real time input data. By doing virtual analysis we can save the time and labor cost because if you have to test a part with different stiffness directly on vehicle man hours will get increased which leads to increase the development time and cost. It also helps to minimize design iterations which further add the confusion to vehicle level data analysis. To give a detailed response behavior at driver seat rail a different stiffness values have been considered for analysis and results are tabulated the peak accelerations at seat rail point in all directions. The above tabulation will help to choose an optimum stiffness for vehicle level validation. 翻訳 |
